Student practical herb-making

The Translife Health Herbal Course is designed for students to enjoy the most professional medicinal herbal course in a relaxed environment. Students are encouraged to dress casual and comfortable, as all modules include practical elements, like gathering and cutting herbs, field trips and also making capsules, tinctures, syrups, creams etc. The course is designed to teach students medicinal plants that are available in South Africa, as well as herbs and trees in the veld. It is now possible for students to plan their own herb gardens, and learn the whole process of gathering, drying, storing and processing herbs.

herbal course

Our lecturers have been in the field of lecturing medicinal and indigenous plants for many years, accompanied by years of formulating and manufacturing capsules, tinctures, creams, syrups, and herbal teas. As both have been practicing Ethnomedicine and Ethnopsychology for decades, students have access to valuable practical experience and knowledge. Each herbal module is well researched and professionally compiled so that students will be equipped with a comprehensive patient – information file at the end of the course.
